What's Not
Lodging is not included with either hunt. Licenses, stamps, guns and shells are on you.
Rates
$225 per guest, per day on both hunts. Parties of 2 to 6 on Chincoteague duck hunts and 2 to 5 on Chesapeake sea duck hunts. Cast and blast trips are $300 per guest, per day, for 1 to 6 guests.

What species can we expect?
Across the season: American black duck, brant, mallard, American widgeon, pintail, northern shoveler, blue wing teal, canvasback, bluebill, common goldeneye, black scoter, surf scoter, old squaw (long-tailed duck), Canada goose and American coot. What shows up on a given morning depends on weather and bird movement.
Where do you hunt?
The waters and marshes around Chincoteague, Virginia, and the big water of the Chesapeake out of Saxis, Virginia. Call for the exact ramp once your date is set.
Do we hunt from a blind or from the boat?
Both, depending on conditions. A typical day starts with puddle ducks from frame blinds in the morning, then moves around to chase divers, brant or sea ducks in the later morning.
How many hunters can come?
Chincoteague duck hunts take parties of 2 to 6 guests. Chesapeake sea duck hunts take 2 to 5. The Under the Sonar blind seats six.
What does it cost?
Both hunts are $225 per guest, per day. The Chincoteague trip books as the Duck Hunt Day Rate and the Chesapeake trip as the Sea Duck Hunt Day Rate. Cast and blast trips are $300 per guest, per day.
Do I need a hunting license?
Yes. A hunting license is required for all guests on both hunts. Contact us for details on which licenses and stamps apply to the water we are hunting.
What should I bring?
It is recommended to bring waders though not a requirement. Dressing for the weather and having proper attire is key. Bring your own gun and shells.
What is on the boat?
GPS, life jackets and Bluetooth music.
Is lodging included?
